Design Walk-Through Study
Design Walk-Through Study is conducted for clients wanting to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their product or website during the prototype stage of development. This testing is performed early in the development process to validate initial design decisions. Our study provides clients with the opportunity to validate design strategies and set the foundation for future development design.
The Design Walk-Through Study is accomplished by testing a series of screenshots or wire-frames that depict how the intended navigational structure and process flow could appear. If desired, this methodology can include evaluating the usability of multiple designs, allowing test participants to comment about their preferences and expectations and offer suggestions for a "Best of Breed". When possible, we encourage continual enhancements to designs over the course of testing.

- Number of Testers: Up To 8 Testers
- Number of Testing Days: 3 days
- Recommended Stage in Development Cycle: Early prototype / wire-frame stage
Design Walk-Through Study Deliverables
- Usability Sciences provides a report consisting of executive summary, findings and recommendations, survey results, and test session logs
- Digital video recordings of each test session are also provided displaying picture-in-picture of product/website and user
- A Highlight DVD is also available, consisting of video clips from testing covering three to five important topics
- Deliverables are provided within five business days for the report and video, and an additional two days for the Highlight DVD
